claire is a professional teacher of contemporary voice with an understanding and practical application of vocal technique for healthy and successful singing. with a passion for belt quality and always keeping an awareness of the emotional connection to artistry and performance, claire's pedagogy includes attention to breath management, register transitions, resonance, articulation and pitch control. with over 20 years of performance experience, claire has enhanced her academic understanding and delivery of vocal pedagogy. claire has travelled extensively to attend voice conferences all over the world including the united kingdom and the united states. as a certified master teacher of estill voice training system, claire has extensive knowledge covering anatomy, physiology, acoustics and vocal qualities including speech, opera and belt singing. from music theatre to rock singers... all benefit from this training! clients have included prominent pop artists and music theatre performers. claire is currently teaching at box hill tafe and presbyterian ladies' college. vce and ib students are welcome. |
